Whoever you are; in whatever faith you were born, whatever creed you profess if you come to this house to find God, you are welcome.”  – John Wesley, Founder of Methodism

Dear Friends,

Broadway United Methodist Church has been part of Maryville’s downtown landscape since 1899. We pride ourselves in serving as a real community center. Groups ranging from Scouts (both Girls and Boys) to Relative Caregivers (for grandparents and other relatives who have custody of young children) to Home School groups to Tai Chi classes to knitting groups meet here. Outreach is at the heart of our ministries. The Salvation Army serves almost 200 lunches here every Friday. We have a Food Pantry as well as a multicultural Kids Club for children. A disaster response team provides basic home repair for local families in addition to planning regular trips to assist with those recovering from hurricanes and other natural disasters.

If you are looking for a church home where you can connect with others who are seeking to negotiate the stresses and challenges of life, we would love to meet you. We have small groups for all age groups. We have two different worship services each with a different style. We have children, youth, and music ministries. We have a Parents Day Out program for preschoolers.

Come and worship with us. Come and be in mission with us. Come and find a home here at Broadway, your downtown church.
